Job Description:

Thelen Associates, Inc. is an engineering/consulting firm that specializes in geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing and inspection services. Thelen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a reliable, experienced construction inspection and soils/concrete/asphalt testing technicians for work on local construction projects. Perform field inspection and testing (concrete, masonry, soils, etc) at large full time projects and other projects at various construction project sites primarily in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred. At least two years in the construction review field. With working knowledge of ACI (American Concrete Institute) testing. ACI, NICET Level II Soils, nuclear density gauge, asphalt testing or other certifications a plus. Ability to read blueprints and prepare daily reports. Valid driver’s license as field work and site travel is involved. Must have dependable transportation and able to lift 50 pounds.
